  1. This is one of the places you must visit at least once. But once done, you give yourself a pat for pushing up all along a mile of 60 degree incline to witness what you only hear about and goggle. The crater was closed to the public because the acid flames from the lake was more intense then usual but the view on the way up and at the summit is rewarding enough – that is if you made it in good time before clouds and smoke from the lake cover up the views.
